Word Art
Many programs can be used to create word art. Internet explorer even has "filters" that add graphic effects to text. One heavy handed way to capture the art, is to capture the screen
to the clip board and paste it into a graphics program. To capture the current window press ctrl-alt-PrtScn buttons at the same time; Open a graphics program, even paint, and edit paste the image into the program; Crop the image.
After the text is created additional graphics can be added with the graphics program that you are using. Backgrounds can be important if you are creating a button. Animations can be done with the word art using Flash, SVG, DHTML, etc.
